JU NANA HON KATA Basic Seventeen Techniques of Randori ATEMI WAZA SHOMEN ATE - Break balance inside arm, switch hands and push back on chin. AIGAMAE ATE - Break balance outside arm, redirect elbow up into eyes, push back on chin. GYAKUGAMAE ATE - Outside break, catch uke on rise and push back with back of left hand across eyes. GEDAN ATE - Attempt Gyakugamae-ate, uke raises arm. Slide under arm and behind uke, then push body with left arm. USHIRO ATE - Small balance break, step behind left and hook hands on shoulders to throw backwards. HIJI WAZA OSHI TAOSHI - Break balance, cycle back to left posture, push elbow through ear, take down and lock. UDE GAESHI - Attempt Oshi-taoshi, uke resists push at ear, break balance out, wrap arm, take down and lock. HIKI TAOSHI - Outside butterfly. Keep moving, threaten eyes with right hand, pull down with left, lock from inside arm. UDE HINERI - Attempt Hiki-taoshi, uke resists pull. Follow pull, wrap right arm through uke's, throw in forward roll. WAKI GATAME - Bring hands straight up and evade forward to expose elbow, walk up to arm and lock to chest. TEKUBI WAZA KOTE HINERI - Begin as Oshi-taoshi, but catch lower on hand. Cycle back taking wristlock, push through and down to lock. KOTE GAESHI - Attempt Kote-hineri, but uke resists push. Break balance out, follow hand to turn-out, throw and lock. TENKAI KOTE HINERI - Outside butterfly, uke pulls arm back. Keep extended, pivot under hand, pivot to front, take down. SHIHO NAGE - Inside butterfly, uke pulls arm back. Pivot under hand, take down in backfall and lock. UKI WAZA MAE OTOSHI - Inside butterfly, left hand pushes up to elbow with body rise, turn palm down and push body to breakroll. SUMI OTOSHI - Inside butterfly, uke pulls back. Follow to rear corner, extend and throw with both hands in airfall. HIKI OTOSHI - Inside butterfly, uke turns into you. Step back with right hand under elbow, drop to knee for airfall.
